Ordinance Revisions in Madison County, IA
In 2020 a well-known Cardiologist from Madison County (Iowa) authored a comprehensive report regarding the concerns of adverse health effects of industrial wind turbines on the rural residential countryside.
So here is what Madison County Department of Health requested and implemented from this report:
1.5 mile from non-participating landowners property line
2,100 feet from participating landowner’s
Madison County Department of Health used the data within this report to determine the revisions to the ordinance that are best for the health and safety of Madison County, Iowa.
This is why we need the moratorium, pass the moratorium and update the ordinance in Dickinson County
Tuesday, Aug 22nd at 8:30am the Board of Supervisors will be allowing further discussion of wind energy.
