Proposed Project #2

Here is project 2 of the wind turbine proposal that is on the Northeast area of Dickinson County and up into Minnesota. Not only will these affect the homeowners that signed leases for their land to be used for these wind turbines, but it will affect the nearby residents that did not agree to lease their land for these wind turbines. We are asking our county to update their ordinances for these wind turbines in where they can be placed.

We are not pushing back against wind turbines all together. We want them properly placed with the health and safety of the community first and foremost in mind.

Please reach out to your Board of Supervisor’s to request that these ordinances are updated as they are outdated based on recent research (since 2009) and is best for the public health and safety of Dickinson county residents that these ordinances be updated with proper spacing of the wind turbines.
